Many indigenous people up here in the Pilbara celebrate Australia Day. I was on a mine site this morning waiting for an excavation permit. An indigenous contracting company were to do the excavations. We had the radio going and heard Di- Natale on the 9.00am news talking about how it is wrong to celebrate Australia Day. One of the work team said that he and his family enjoy celebrating the day. Maybe Di-Natale and others should come up here do a 12 hour shift with our hardworking indigenous brothers. I guess there is no votes for good news stories that bring us all together instead of dividing the nation.
