i stand by my point that there is the chance to buy anything when it is cheap and let time do the work
but also accept your point about individual stocks
I let the asx alone when chi x started so yes you need to be sensible

but it is like dyl and boe and rms for a few cents each. it took years for the rerate but they worked and worked well
i get frustrated at picking each leg and feel sorry for those who talk themselves into selling
no one can pick each leg correctly

i made a similar point with property when it was cheap and at the cross roads in 2014. i got howled off the property thread by one or two who had overbrought and overcommitted and time proved who was right on that leg. i expect they now feel it is safe to overbuy property again. harsh maybe but true for a lot of people
