Yes Pete that one trillion dollars. Probably just one of about six things that made the gold price go up. Slightest little hiccup now and we are in trouble. Only need one decent sized lender in the US in commercial real estate to go bad and we could have another banking crisis on our hands within five minutes. Apparently there have been smaller ones but so far they have been able to paper over any problems. So many things to think about.
