look at the DEC SPI ...
it's gone from a 40 point discount to a 15 point premium. that's 55 points of jam and cream for doing nothing. and it's been a very long time since we've seen a premium.
also the DEC SPI is staying above the 2015 SPI high.
i think the hedge funds are now positioning on the long side.
so i think our stock market is headed up big time to challenge the 2007 high.
i think the SPI will be at a premium to the cash going forward.
the man on the street is not telling his mates how much money he is making in the market. that is yet to come.
the warning sign for the market will be when the premium gets extended. the biggest premium on the SPI i have seen is 50 points and from memory, when the SPI topped in 1987, the premium was 45 points.
