I'm really in two minds on the markets overall . The US charts have been scary for some time and eventually gravity has its way . You really wouldn't want to see it start falling conclusively from here because there's not a lot in it's way . An orderly retreat to a more comfortable level would be just what we need for our markets here but when do you ever get what you wish for. I was hoping the big one was still a couple of years away , trying not to face reality I suppose ,but prepared for it just the same.

There's been something highly unusual going on in the market ever since Trump was elected . I still can't quite figure it out.

looking at the latest COT, i was surprised by the way the commercials have reduced their short position for the full sized S&P contracts. my interpretation is that we are now looking at a long market.
