    Great post footy.
    A generation of pain ahead.

Seems to me this is the start of a new industrial revolution. We will just have to live with higher unemployment.
A lot of welfare perks will have to go.
Our politicians of all parties are useless and we will vote for new parties..

I still think Australia is the lucky country but we will need to work hard to make our luck.
Native Title will go. One of the greatest impediments to growth. Resource companies find it cheaper to deal with war lords in Africa than go through the mine fields of Native Title.
Probably we will become less tolerant of multiculturalism. We will need to work together to achieve a goal and will not tolerate those working against us.
As we become less reliant of Arab oil we will become less tolerant of Muslims.
I see a lot of unemployed lawyers walking the streets. (yippeee)
I think I will be paying my last electricity bill in a few years and we will all be waving goodbye to these utilities.
I might go out and buy a decent farm or get a trade.
Feel sorry for the young kids looking for a job.

    etc etc.
