There are already stories hitting the media now about the Saudis looking at wanting to be in the thick of it for downstream processing, battery manufacturing etc. Even they see the writing on the wall. There is a timeline, long it may be, but it is a timeline. Those that want to stick their heads in the sand will be left behind, to go the way of Kodak, Nokia and Blockbuster Video.
