Any chance of clarifying where you came up with the thought that some forum participants assume that it will be "a case of lodge everything required on day 1 and expect to get a permit ten days later"?

Predictive management has been crystal clear and succinct regarding the anticipated timeline. I'm unaware of your credentials but I'd rather take information from the astute board and management - they've got more than 100 years of Guinea based experience behind them. Their credentials are impressive, particularly Pardey (MD) & Balde (Country Manager). Unless someone credible comes up with evidence to suggest that they will flunk the timely attainment of objectives, I'll stick with what the team is providing.
