    Hi @kingpins

Sincerely hope that many readers will realize just what terrible things this voice referendum will do to the country as a whole if passed. Will it be enough?? Sadly still think that somehow it will pass based on the way events unfolded in the last couple of years if the populace's compliance is anything to go by. As you say there are those in politics, here and in the community that do give a toss and have been either sidelined or vilified. Hope those affected will keep being thorns in the govts side when it comes to bad policies.

Whilst not exactly the topic at hand - for those believing lower power price govt policy promises, may care to note that today in the mail was a rather unwelcome but expected delivery of news of electricity price increases from 1st July - wait, only a whopping 46% increase in usage charges (though pay on time discounts do apply). A shock received by putting one's fingers in a live power point may be lesser! what.png

The point is, if you cannot trust a government with a promise made for lowering energy costs then how can you trust with even bigger impacts about to go down?? rolleyes.png

The energy provider correspondence interestingly states:

'We understand that in some instances this is a large increase....'

No, actually they do not have the foggiest and neither do they care but nor does the govt. And there is an outcry of a payrise for workers of around 5 something percent??? eek.png The cost of renewables are hitting hard yet there are still some thinking energy costs are getting cheaper - thinking with what??

Thank you for ur kind comments. smile.png
