Sorry to burst the bubble of pintohoo and the other francophiles that seem to infest this forum.
But your beloved French were causing grief in Vietnam before the yanks and Australia got involved.
And they weren't shy about massacres and atrocities either.
Funnily enough although pintohoo has posted multiple times about the war mongering yanks and what they did in Vietnam I've never read a single post from them decrying what the French did there.
When you throw in the atmospheric testing of atomic bombs in the pacific and the act of terror against Greenpeace, we should never forget the treachery of France.
