You could say that about any number of things.
i.e. the spruikers of the equity markets in 2007/08 etc.
And to be fair the USD or most currencies are worth a pittance of what they were then.
Even in my relatively short life span I remember when milk was 4c a pint & you could get a 1c lolly mixture as a kid! 1c ! i.e. 4 lollies for 1c.
You can't even get 1 & 2c coins any more!
