QE is "officially" finished, yet gold is still over US$1200, all the bears got their price targets completely wrong, 90% of bears here said when QE goes to 0, gold will be $1,000 or less.
Now imagine where gold will end up when the "market" figures out the FED will NEVER raise interest rates, because at the moment they are stalling for time to concoct some new idea about creating money out of thin air, I will bet the FED will have to start QE again, under a different name probably, if the FED is so confident that the US economy is growing by itself, why wont it raise interest rates even .25%??
Because they know they are checkmated, that's why.
By the way did anyone read YESTERDAYS AUSTRALIAN newspaper, the business section PAGE27, whole article about gold, the fed, ALL PRO GOLD!!!! I nearly spilt my coffee on my bosses lap when I opened up page 27.
I think "young" Rupert has gone bonkers allowing one of his papers to write a HUGE article in the middle of the business section about Gold GOOD, FED bad. It also mentioned the END of the US$ as a reserve currency and China controlling the global financial system when everyone flees the US$.
I thought it read like someone Gerald celente wrote to be honest, the editor at the Australian must have you know of steel to allow an article like that, even had a huge picture of a chinese lady pushing a cart full of gold bullion, as a nice touch
