There was a mini bubble in gold specs along with other metals in 2006 and that is about it. If anyone thinks that capital has been freely flowing into the sector since then, they are pretty much clueless. The only loose capital I have witnessed flowing in the real world over the last 8 years has come from the Chinese and lesser so the Russians, and Arabs.
