Make no mistake, welfarism kills, sometimes physically, but mostly mentally, usually both. It robs you of your ambition, destroys your self-esteem, kills your spirit and drive and leaves you vulnerable to depression, drugs, alcoholism, etc and destroys relationships and lives of those around you. Of course, some need help on a temporary basis, and that's fair enough. All these charities which tout their humanity actually perpetuate this misery. They don't lend a helping hand, these charities encourage welfare-seekers to live in permanent poverty. And that is the biggest crime against any human being and humanity -- when you rob a person of all hope and spirit and leave him/her forever dependent and without hope.
