I hope they charge their union for the repair bill the bloody idiots
Protestors have clashed with police at the launch of Federal Education Minister Christopher Pyne's new book in Melbourne.
More than 30 police officers held back protesters who smashed a glass revolving door as they tried to enter a Docklands building.
The group of about 80 demonstrators chanted "No cuts, no fees, no corporate universities" as they wrestled with police.
The protest was organised by the National Union of Students.
Mr Pyne is launching his book A Letter to My Children.
He told the audience at his launch: "It was a bit juvenile of the students to protest the launch of a family friendly book."
