The Greens and Labor and even some of the new cross-benches want to hijack the plebiscite on same sex marriage,it is more about politicians and parties wanting to own the issue and deny what the public what they voted a plebiscite, the Australian public voted for a vote on the issue and that should stand .
The ridiculous assertion by Labor and the Greens that it will cost to much is a joke because both parties have never worried about spending tax payers money before and it is a small price to pay for the public to have its say and put the issue to rest.
