LOL exciting isn’t it Dex. The plebiscite may or may not be initially rolled but as I see it the strategy appears to be to first try to get the parliament to vote on ssm. If that fails the govt can resubmit the legislation calling for a plebiscite and then that would pass.
Of course if all the coalition MPs are made to oppose the initial Bill to introduce SSM there could be a backlash from the voting public and the plebiscite might also serve as a referendum on the coalition.
You never know though some coalition members might break ranks and vote for SSM in parliament and save us 160million.
