@cjbjb2702 and Pints - this is a conversation that must be had if we are going to help our indigenous Australians!
Sadly, we have wasted scores of billions and made life much worse for them.
The has to be a better way.
We must educate the kids properly no matter where they are - remote localities or cities.
We must provide hope to the older people through various means. It is only through well-meaning discourse with committed professionals that we will achieve this.
Unfortunately, the billions we have poured into "Aboriginal welfare" has created "fiefdoms" all over the place where the few benefit while the vast majority live in abject poverty and the well off will scream "bl@#dy murder" if you try and take it off them!! BUT it must be done for the sake of the majority!
