"Thats not how it is ozblue, the increase in infections is due to people now being tested, where before they werent. The more testing you do the more cases you find..Therefore the numbers will rise sharply and then just as quickly start falling, just like in China. Get it?
Respectfully, I think @ozblue does 'get it' because every point in his/her post is pretty much evidence-based.
The successful reduction and control of viral transmission across China did not involve a poorly executed preparedness and response plan as witnessed in the US, nor the constant flow of spurious claims by its President. Instead it rolled out the most ambitious and aggressive disease containment effort in history, in stark contrast to the lackluster performance of a Trump administration resulting in widespread community transmission to be reflected in a significant spike in the number of reported cases over the following days/weeks/months...
