Well I thing the POG tells us that they aren't or not in any meaningful scale. With a market that seems hell bent on convincing everyone that they are & I assume shorting would go along with holding that view, gold is no lower. If Russia was selling large amounts of gold & the market is shorting as you would be if you are that convinced that they are gold would he substantially lower. Another alternative seeing we are happy to discuss spurious rumor, that perhaps there is another massive buyer out there.... BOO !
