I've followed the progress of Gov John Kasich's grudge ever since the 2015 campaign got under way.
He thought from the start he was entitled to be the nominee. It oozed out of him. And Trump became the focus for his bitterness the further he pulled away from the pack.
And he has not relented in his sniping ever since.
My guess is he's already had his tombstone made with the message engraved as follows:
"That bastard should be here instead of me"
This week the hate kept flowing when he announced he would not attend a function in his state that would also be attended by the President.
