Here's some light reading as to ASX Listing Rules 10.1-10.3 and the definitions in ASX Listing Rule 19. This is a well written piece for laypeople to understand.
Quite simply, the mention of Rule 10.1 refers to the purchase or sale of an asset. My guess is the sale of an asset.
The mention in the announcement of a related party could mean a number of things but to my mind it is more likely to be a 10% equity holder or a person/company with a financial agreement with AVB.
Therefore, my view is that the questions to be asked (or speculated on) are:
(1) What is being sold that is worth more than 5% of the equity value of AVB?
and
(2) Who is the related party that is buying the asset?
and
(3) Why?
and
(4) What is the outcome for AVB of (1)-(3)?
