I tend to agree, although I wouldn't be taking a position either way till this NFP is out of the way. It can totally screw up short term trading.
Elliot wave is saying a break of 1189 and its goodnight ladies till 1159 and then if that gets smashed watch out for 1131. On the other hand, if it holds 1189 and bounces we could see a short term move to 1210 before resuming down to 1159. Basically a break of 1159 will tell us that we are in wave 5 of 5 with a target of 956, but if we hold 1159, we are actually at the beginning of wave 3 of wave 1, in which case its all up from there long term.
I like the simplicity of this market right now. I am agnostic to its price until we get a clear signal on the long terms.
