The IRA were freedom fighters. They didn't want to take over Britain , or anywhere else for that matter , they just wanted their own country back , pure and simple. , after 100's of years of servitude, semi-slavery.
Ireland never had any colonies , slaves or empires , unlike Britain.
The greatest injustice Britain unleashed upon ANY of it's conquests was the millions of Irish allowed to die , slowly , very painfully through starvation ,during the potato famine .
Why are they STILL in someone else's country.?.....they gave complete freedom to everywhere else ?
