Far from me giving you a history lesson or teaching you about international relations and national power, but those events you quoted where all stages of forming the new world order from the crisis of world depression in the 1930's.
The new world order was finally settled in the late 80's and early 90's following the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Today, this 'new world order' is under threat through what can be termed the "clash of cultures" and takes its form in many guises from diplomatic disputes through to territory disputes through to currency wars and all the way to terrorism often ending in all out shooting matches amongst other nasty stuff.
