There use to be regulars who basically lived in these parks in their own van. After 6 months they moved to another van park for 6 months then back again. This group is being thinned out or even totally removed.

Owners of van parks have being grouping into franchises with a 'head office' doing PR etc for them. I've assumed that head office has been informed that caravans will be a thing of the past with the rise of the EV.

There is also a rise of anti-caravaning headwinds seemingly gathering momentum.

My son has a caravan that is fixed on one site, can only be used so many days a year, nearly 8k a year for rent, not a cheap holiday any more.
