It is a bit strange that the market is bullish on rare earth stocks, but is not commensurately bearish on Lithium producers. If REEs are in short supply - then there are no materials to make EVs, as the motors require Nd and Pr. Also that is needed for wind turbines. Indium and Gallium needed for solar panels too.
Either the market is not so fearful of lack of REE supply, or not thinking about second order impacts yet. Or maybe I am missing something - wouldn't be the first time. Maybe there are some market opportunities available shorting Lithium producers?
