Voters should be aware of such things so they can vote according to their beliefs on policing of drugs.

A partner, a parent, a sibling, a cousin, a workmate, a friend, an acquaintance, a partner's friend.
Then consider just how well you know your circle of friends and family and whether you should be held accountable for their actions.
Once you consider the difficulty in responding you will understand that the question of criminality revolves around an individuals actions and not the relationship they enjoy with an individual.
