Yes - the Dem's couldn't stand that their 2016 plan was thwarted. Hillary was it - she was going to be the first woman president and would follow in the footsteps of the glory years of the Obama administration.
And then Trump won.
Their fury was incredible. It wasn't about supporting the US - it certainly wasn't about respecting the voter's decisions (damn deplorables), it was about revenge.
For four years they did everything in their far-reaching powers to bring Trump down. In the end, it took a fair and honest election, covid, BLM, Antifa, the full support of all social/MS media and some idiots who thought storming the Capital building was a good idea, to get him.
Now they have him, they're determined to destroy him and his family to ensure that the Democratic Party is never denied again.
Also as a bonus, it sends a great message to anyone who might have the audacity to run for President under a Republican banner in 2024. Do so at your own peril.
