Like your posts but don't agree here, it would as you say be going from the current character of investment stock back to a dastardly casino stock, but that's what they've always been, way back since 1987, and some oil spec traders love it, the lower market cap allowing volatility, the sell before spud, the drill bit crashes, the price depressing cap raises, the new drill target, the rise in price before spud, a cycle in a long term downtrend, almost (but not quite, unfortunately) as reliable as clockwork you might say... and not many stocks with that opportunity left on the boards.
