Yup, and with the rescue from doom of their current success and for those that like records (like me) FAR has the chance of becoming record holder for the longest surviving oil spec on the boards, but seriously they don't have full control over the outcome and for the bits that they do it's up to them (or if they have to put it to shareholders, to us) to decide what they want to be or do.

There also may be negative taxation issues from the return of cash to shareholders from part sales or full takeover, so for those concerned with that, a full share exchange takeover from a major would perhaps be the best possible outcome allowing, at the same time, tax deferral opportunities and the recipient to make the decision to hold or sell in their own good time (same could apply to part sale as well I suppose).
