I would have thought a percentage of the day's start price would be more useful as a circuit breaker. Probably 3% or something like that .
The whole DoddFrank thing has been a complete over reaction in my view. I'm not saying that something needs to be done I'm just not sure DoddFrank was the right approach.
It does mean Timber that the Banks could re visit their bad old yes & bad old days.
Crikey six years on & still not implemented.
Waiting for a Republican government I would suggest & it never gets implemented.
