    Cheers cso1 and zwu,

a good discussion on GTP and GNS.

With reference to GNS I happened to meet a leading Tasmanian conservationist in Melbourne several weeks ago who told me that we can expect another increase in the magnitude of campaigning against Gunns for their ongoing use of aierally applied napalm (which suprised me but they assure me it is correct) and 1080.

I presume the napalm (if that is what it is) is being used to speed up the burning of harvest waste. 1080 is a rabbit poison but supposedly also being aerially applied.

I am not aware of any of the other listed forestry companies using napalm, lol!!

GTP - if I remember correctly GTP normally records an operating loss in the first half of each financial year and in my memory has a track record of understating and overdelivering on financial results.

I would once again draw your attention to the most unusual pricing mechanism being used for the first (and hopefully last) time by GTP to calculate the DRP price.

Clearly it is in the interests of those taking up the DRP to see the share price go as low as possible over the calculation period which still has 3 weeks to run.

It was in relation to concerns about the impact this is having on the share price That GTOP management released the letter I suspect.
