To my mind, when the company says "Sinopec have confirmed that upon satisfactory completion (of the Sinopec project scheduled for Q4 CY2016) the parties shall conduct good faith discussions regarding agreements .... etc), implies 'good faith discussions' will not occur until aforementioned completion occurs. "Upon" is the key words here imo. It implies a trigger point.
Difference of interpretation obviously. Its cool, nothing wrong with that. I don't want to kick the bee hive.
