Afternoon Guys,
I for one am extremely surprised that MLX is still sitting where it is today. I hear your guys view that Jinchuan may be exiting and other than that the lack of movement is making me scratch my head (yes, I do acknowledge that the SP has moved from 8.4c since mid December and that is impressive).
IMO, this lack of gap up post the Cu sale represents an excellent and unanticipated opportunity.
Given that MLX has removed a huge uncertainty in its operations / balance sheet (but still retained Cu upside) and that it is only one of two Western listed pure play Sn producers, I think that once any overhang is gone we should see a material uplift in SP.
Possibly not to AFM's level due to their superior deposit but the jurisdiction advantages of MLX should mean the gap largely closes over time.
Cheers
John
