I am not certain that CSL has distorted price and market. From my understanding, CSL get's a broker to do the buyback and provides the rules of when purchases can take place. Again, from my understanding, a buyback cannot be too big in any one day to be construed as market manipulation.
A comment on the debt. CSL has determined a debt ratio that it is comfortable with, that is manageable based on cash flows and will not put at risk it's credit rating. The debt profile it is aiming for, IMO, seems to be fair and reasonable.
Obviously, each of us needs to have a view on the debt and sp that we are comfortable with. Over the years, (and I have been a holder for a number of years), I have become convinced that the quality of the management team and board are such that I am confident that they know what they are doing. I am happy for them to continue on the strategy they are on.
