Maybe you a right and maybe you are wrong. They maybe have been scum at the time but what if they are rehabilitated now?
It is only those who deserve it that should receive mercy? Who are we to be the judge of that? Jesus said, 'For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7.2. I am happy to judge the act they committed, which was wrong but not their character.
Jesus also said, "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Luke 5.32. If Andrew Chan is a genuine believer and has repented I can say this with all confidence, he will be welcomed in Christs presence.
We can just agree to disagree but thank you for being respectful and not carrying on like a crying windbag like some.
