I would suggest Abbott will eventually become a non event and nothing more than an aberration in the parry and thrust in the political scene.
Think back to the Liberal party launch in 2013.........when his daughters gave their presentation.
They stole the show and Abbott's presentation made him look like an also ran.
It was at that point (being a Liberal supporter) I felt there were problems ahead should Abbott be elected as PM.
And as things have played out I believe I was right.
I think that Abbott supporters need to think long and hard about what their hero has to offer this country.
That's not to say that Abbott doesn't have qualities that should be admired, but having said that...............do the qualities he possesses qualify him to be the leader of our nation? Unfortunately I think not.
As I've said many times before.......history will not treat Tony Abbott kindly.
