Been following the story about the rise in the fuel excise today.
What a massive beat up. The media have whipped themselves into such a frenzy, that they can't even get the story right.
Sky reported initially that fuel would go up...."40 cents a litre!!!"
Oops. Got that wrong.
Channel Ten just broke the story as if everyone was going to go broke. Massive, back door new tax. Shorten was on, with his crocodile tears. What a fake.
Then, right at the end of the story, some facts.
Guess what? Families will/may have to pay an increase of.....wait for it.......20 dollars a year!!!!!!!! Another version as quoted in Parliament by Abbott is 40 cents per week. Thats the equivalent of two fags.
