Hi Nikl, I trade inside bars a lot, so I like your approach. You might want to take a closer look at a few special types of inside bars (they are not all created equal):
Inside bars that come after an outside bar
Inside bars that come after a pin bar (hammer or shooting star)
Inside bars that come after a fakeout (false breakout) bar, and
Inside bars that are themselves pinbars, i.e. they have the form of hammers or shooting stars (these are called hidden retest inside bars)
You will find if you break inside bars down into different categories they do not all perform the same. The above are 4 groups that perform better than the average inside bar.
