The law of averages says there 1 in 10 players in the Afl who are gay which equates to 2 in each team. The NRL has gay players, some of whom have chosen to hide that. I remember the furore many years ago when Ian Roberts declared he was gay after playing in the top level of league for years. Goodness they homophobes popped up everywhere. Roberts was one the toughest and most respected players of the era, played tests for Oz and Nsw Origin.
