A bit of a collation of some recent releases beginning with this:

“Highly regarded Belo Horizonte consultant, Reinaldo Magalhães has been contracted to manage the application process for trial mining licences at Três Estados and Ema. A trial mining licence enables the Company to mine up to 50,000 tonnes per annum from each project area.”

That’s 100,000oz pa at a very conservative 1oz/t AuEq for the two areas, Ema and Tres Estrados or 200,000oz pa at 2oz/t AuEq with tiny mining costs/oz.

Drilling at Tres Estados and Ema planned for July

    From Monday’s ANN:

FIRST GOLD EXTRACTION FOR EMA (from a 150kg surface bulk sample) YIELDS 58.16g/t Au

An initial hydrometallurgical test conducted on 1kg split from the Ema 150kg surface bulk sample collected over an area of 100m x 40m (see ASX release of June 19), utilising a simple leach process yields 58.16g/t gold, 442.35 g/t silver, 0.22% copper and 103.40 g/t tin. Still waiting on PGM assays.

In parallel, a hydrometallurgical test on the same bulk sample is being conducted by e-Reciclar in Belo Horizonte and pyrometallurgical testing will commence within the coming week at the Marcelo facility.

This follows after assay results received from a surface bulk sample from another project nearby, Três Estados came in at 102.18g/t Au (3.28oz/t), 63.32g/t Pt (2.04 oz/t), 36.72g/t Pd (1.18oz/t) and 135.20g/t Ag (4.35oz/t) from a two-stage extraction process which produced two precious metal buttons

An additional 300kg surface bulk sample of fresh **bro (see photos 2) in the appendix has been collected from the Tres Estados prospect from the same area as the previous bulk sample. Crushing, milling and homogenisation of the sample is in progress prior to commencement of ongoing hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical testwork.

    Other highlights from previous ANNs:

    • Results received from extraction tests at Três Estados indicate that exceptional levels of precious metals can be recovered by relatively simple refining techniques

      • Results are from hydrometallurgical extraction test work undertaken on a 5kg bulk surface sample at e-Recicla Ltda precious metals refinery

      • Pyrometallurgical test undertaken on two 15kg samples at the Marcelo da Silva Pinto M.E. precious metal refinery, São Gonçalo, greater Rio de Janeiro delivered assay results of 666g/t (21.41 ozs/t) Ag and 466g/t (14.98 ozs/t) Ag

      • The same homogenised sample used for both hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical tests, from the same general location as TER 048 announced on 27 February 2017

      • Importantly, both processes used in the test work can be simply adapted for commercial extraction

      • BBX Minerals has engaged CETEC (Minas Gerais Federation of Industry Research institute) to enhance and optimise the assay and extraction processes.

"Geological mapping outlined a 1.6 km by 0.8 km mafic body intruded into the rhyolite sequence, associated with three areas of old artisanal gold workings. The Daniel and Cutia workings are located on the mafic/rhyolite contact and the Adelar workings within the mafic body."

From this ANN: "A 260kg surface bulk sample of unweathered mineralised **bro, collected from an area of approximately 110m x 200m"

The mineralised rock they took the bulk sample from that went 6 ounces per tonne gold equivalent or 180g/t (adding in Pt-Pd-Ag-REE credits) is 1.6km by 0.8km in size and these orebodies have a very large depth component. It's fresh rock so there's no supergene enrichment. 1 cubic metre of fresh **bro (unmineralised) = 2.86 tonnes. Do the maths.
