Oh my, so much for Trump igniting POG. Of cause POG mighy have continued to rise if the Fed didn't intervene and increase interest rates on 10Y and 30Y treasury bonds causing a percieved stampede back into USD. But that is the minefield we play.
So where is POG headed from here. Will Fed continue to increase interest rates on bonds to force USD higher and POG lower. The US eventually has to pay back interest on bonds unless they informally default by unleashing inflation, paying back that debt, with freshly printed fiat. So their actions today have repercussions down the track. But that doesn't make it any easier trying to work out an investment strategy in todays rigged casino.
Trump enters office on January 20th. What will happen to POG before and after he enters office????????
