Although unlike yourself I admire Elon for the huge advancements he and his companies have made over many years in many different fields there are certainly a few things I can't reconcile with him despite making allowances for his Aspergers syndrome. His lack of acceptance of V2X is one of them, Tesla and Solar City (now Tesla Energy) are perfectly positioned to make the most of V2X but most Teslas can't even do V2L.
The exterior design of Teslas (maybe not so much the CT) is mainly driven by aerodynamics and beauty is in the eye of the beholder but IMO the S and 3 are very good looking cars, I am not quite so keen on the X and Y but they are still better than many other offerings out there. I have no idea where you can see a hearse but if you are fan of a big array of switches, dials and levers a Tesla is certainly not the car for you.
