    Benbradley, the stench that remains in the nostrils of most voters in Indi following the 2013 Election is due to:
    . the 'misplacement' of 1,000 of Cathy McGowan's votes during the count that has never been independently investigated, votes that were magically found when the AEC's reconciliation of votes showed the anomaly;
    . the destruction of McGowan's campaign billboards in Wangaratta that was never officially investigated;
    . the abuse of signage posting rules on election day that has never been investigated;
    . what IMO was an old boys club appointment of Sophie Mirabella to a plush government job following her rejection;
    . Tony Abbott's abuse of the launch of the 'Spirit of ANZAC' exhibition in Wodonga to promote Mirabella's candidacy and Abbott's refusal to meet with locals throughout the day even though Mirabella boasted that he would do so.

    Now FYI, the Voice For Indi [VFI] group is a LOCAL grass roots organisation formed to highlight the poor quality of representation from our MP and to seek better representation in future. It is NOT controlled by McGowan.

    The 2PP system of voting in the HOR has been with us since 1918! Throughout most of the 1950s and 1960s it enabled the LNP to form government on the back of DLP preferences. Only since the rise of The Greens has the ALP benefited from preference flows; that as many ALP voters have become disillusioned with the ALP's stance on the environment, public education and human rights.
