Better to give the election to those who don't want it so they actually have to do some work for the extreme benefits they get it won't matter any of the 3 majors is going to be a disaster anyway so let's have some fun and fill parliament with independents so we can watch them fight and squabble just like in Italy if we can't have good government then we must have good entertainment.
