What's stopping TLG from striking agreement within 12 months as per the real life example that suhm has provided above of a company which as he has already outlined is worth 2.5X TLG right now?

If you ask me, the only thing stopping TLG to achieve that within 12 months is scale, they are clearly looking for something larger and to be a game changer, so the income might not be flowing within that period, but the hype, the hype might take it to 10X Directa's worth as the evidence of quality comes to fruition and the numbers start to bounce around with big names knocking on the door. Not to say it won't be a a good time to buy then too, but you will have to be very nifty to buy and sell and just the right time as it will likely overshoot it's true worth once there is near time sign of income and then rebalance fairly quickly so you could be at square 1 if you don't sell right at top (which few rarely do) whereas ones who get in early have built a buffer to walk away smiling regardless of the how many bags hey pocket!

This doesn't mean stop losses are not the most critical and by far biggest necessity in anything you do.

Good luck folk, but so far the Captain is running a steady ship and stands to lose a lot of if he slips up which is always a good sign. Also, don't forget the other big names, very big names, that are in this with us as well.
