Financiers and Lawyers have won a case in the High court in the UK and have stopped BREXIT.
There must now be a challenge and a win before BREXIT can happen.
The finding was that Parliament does not have the authority to proceed with BREXIT.
A democracy to me means the government accepts the will of the majority of the people.
They had a vote and the majority voted to leave the EUZ.
When that inalienable right is blocked or dismissed then that country becomes something other than a democracy.
Dictatorships, Junta's and all manner of other dictatorial types of governments dismiss the peoples will and proceed with their own agenda.
What happens at the next vote when the Financieers and lawyers dont agree with the will of the people?
Is the UK still a democracy ruled by the people?
Imo if it does not proceed with BREXIT then it is not.
This could be a very serious event and cause wide spread trouble in the UK if allowed to happen.
