I find that sentence interesting!
Ukraine has been attacked from the inside by the US & Europe due to the unwillingness of the previous Ukrainian administration to play ball with anti russian EU legislation. A coup was formed by the US within the Ukraine (with armed militia) and a new government put in place, it's is a regular play for the US. Putin is now defending his people in Ukraine's Crimea (65% russian) and defending his backyard...
I think we should take time to look away from Western media and really try and understand the facts. This is how countries have been fooled into wars in the past...propaganda
Maybe take the time to read this article from last April as a starting point, it might open your eyes to how media spin has us thinking backwards. Putin might actually be the good guy!
