prob stems from the olden days when we could see which broker was actually on the bid and offer. they all had broker codes.

Instinet Nomura has been the seller past several weeks. you've prob noticed the broker selling 120t and 150t here and there and knocking the price down 25points in one hit. the stock recovers almost immediately.

two weeks ago I've noticed they were not only selling stock but started buying also.

in past two weeks, since 15 April, the biggest single net buyer is Morgan Stanley with 1 m shares. (Merrills and jefferies each bought 500t shares)

but Instinet Nomura has now bought 927T shares. keep in mind they've sold 1.2m , so net selling 346T

my point is ... in the good old days, as a broker, if we had a sell order on a stock and we noticed we were the only sellers in the market, we would either contact a client to buy the remaining sell order stock or we would take it in-house.

could be something, might be nothing but random stuff ?@!!$@~?
